- Co-investment manager Bezalel has managed the Jupiter Strategic Bond fund since its inception in 2008. A member of the fixed income team since 1998 and an investment manager since 2000, he is co-manager for the Jupiter Multi-Sector Fixed Income franchise alongside Harry Richards.
- Richards, who joined Jupiter in 2011, is also co-manager of the Jupiter Sterling Investment Grade Non-Gilt Strategy alongside Adam Darling.
- “Harry are and I very much in charge of the strategy in terms of how we allocate across the fixed income market,” said Bezalel. “All the time we are exchanging information on how we see the world unfolding and debating how to manage duration.”
- When it comes to making credit decisions, he said the fund also leans heavily upon Jupiter’s team of nine credit analysts.
- “The analysts are an integral part of the investment process,” said Bezalel. “Not only do they help us decide where to initiate positions, but they also assist us to decide when to exit and they are constantly looking for relative value opportunities. We give the analysts a huge amount of autonomy and want them to have skin in the game.”
